Hi There!

My name is Kate, I'm the producer of "The King's Whore: The Anne Boleyn Story," an original play about Anne Boleyn's life and death coming to NYC in July.

We are currently running a fundraiser to get the last of the money we need to bring this fabulous production to life, and we have $10k to raise by June 1st: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/help-fund-the-world-premiere-of-the-king-s-whore-the-anne-boleyn-story/x/1409604

Would you consider posting about it so that Anne Boleyn fans everywhere can help us get this production off the ground? We would be happy to give you free tickets to the show in exchange.

Thank you so much for the consideration!

Bet you didn't know that Katherine Parr's paternal aunt, Katherine Vaux was Lady Throckmorton as wife to the outspoken Sir George. Sir George was also a cousin by Parr's maternal side. It's interesting how her cousins were actually divided when it came to religion. Some remained Catholic while some converted to the Protestant Church.
I did a brief study on the women in one family spanning the late Tudor/early Stuarts.

Interestingly there were no deaths in childbirth, although one of a pregnant woman, although of course this isn't really surprising as although birth fatality rates were shocking by modern standards (I can't remember the estimated number I read, but it was mid single figure percentages over a woman's life) my sample was quite small.
